Glass Corridor in the Cloud - Huangtengxia Glass Corridor in Qingyuan
Opened in 2019, Qingyuan Huangtengxia Glass Corridor, or the glass corridor in the cloud, was set to be the highest glass corridor in the world. Extending to the air, it offers spectacular views of the surrounding scenery.
Raising the stakes for visitors who like to challenge their fear of heights, the glass corridor is 500 meters high, or 1,640 feet, smashing the record of 300 meters (980 feet), set by Zhangjiajie glass bridge.

What is special?
Located in southern China's Qingyuan city, Huangtengxia Glass Corridor is the world's longest and tallest single-column cantilevered glass corridor, and has the world's largest circular waterfall and the world’s largest single piece of glass.
The transparent glass, with a thickness of 6 cm and transparency of 99.9%, is the world's most advanced glass material. The largest single piece of glass is 15 square meters, equal to the size of a bedroom, making it the world’s largest single piece of glass.
The Big Racket - Beautiful Suspended Platform
The Huangtengxia Glass Corridor, the beautuful suspeded platform, is supported by three large columns of the steel-concrete structure. The appearance is like two rackets crossing on the mountain, and therefore, was called “Big Racket”.
The Light Show and Water Fall
Installed with the music, light and waterfall system, the 168 meters (551 feet) long hanging glass corridor is proud of its shocking waterfall in the daytime, and the amazing light show at night. When the night falls and lights (more than 2000) on, visiting the hanging corridor will definitely put yourself into a magic world.
Is the Suspended Glass Corridor Safe?
It takes 12 months to finish the construction. The glass corridor can bear nearly 400 tons, equal to the weight of 4,000 people (based on 75kg/person). In order to further enhance its safety, 20 dampers were installed in the corridor.
How to Get there?
From Guangzhou: Qingyuan is about 90 km from Guangzhou. You could take the bus from Guangzhou Bus Station to Qingyuan Shijiao Bus Station(清远石角汽车站). Then take bus No.218 to Fengyu Xing Chun Station(凤宇新村), and transfer to Bus No.206 to Shi Jie Du Suo Station(市戒毒所) from where is 3.6 km to Qingyuan Huang Teng Canyon.
From Shenzhen: If you are in Shenzhen, you could take the bus from Shenzhen Longhua Bus Station(深圳龙华汽车站) or Shenzhen Futian Bus Station(深圳福田汽车站) to Qingyuan ZhongGuan Bus Station(清远中冠汽车客运站), then transfer to bus No.208 and get off at Dong Cheng Xiao Xue Station (东城小学站), and lastly, transfer to bus 24 and get off at Huang Teng Canyon Station(黄腾峡站).
